Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois "Tickled Pink" to Sponsor Golf Fundraiser Benefitting Breast Cancer Fund

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) is proud to be the In the Pink Sponsor of the "Play for the Cure" golf outing this Saturday, June 8^th, at Brookhills Golf Club in Springfield.

The fundraiser features golfing, lunch, awards and a cocktail party, but with a twist – it's a women-only event that will be staffed only by men!

"Play for the Cure" benefits the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure™, which supports breast cancer education, treatment and research.
