WILTON, Conn., Jan. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Buffalo will sponsor the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team vs. Atlanta Falcons & NFL Celebrity Stars Tribute to Heroes Game to be held prior to Super Bowl LIII on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.
Captained by U.S. Marine veteran BJ Ganem, the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team (WWAFT) looks to extend its 19-0 unbeaten record against NFL alumni and friends with another victory.
"Our team is living proof that the loss of a limb doesn't define a person or mean the end of an athletic career," said BJ Ganem. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team is composed of men and women who lost a limb while serving our nation in Iraq or Afghanistan. More the 400 NFL stars and celebrities have participated in WWAFT vs NFL alumni games in the past.

Scheduled to appear for the Falcons and NFL alumni are former head coach Dan Reeves, WR Terance Mathis, WR Brian Finneran, LB Chris Draft, LB/SS Coy Wire (CNN Sports) WR Dez White and NFL Hall of Fame Member Michael Irvin.
Also scheduled to appear are: ESPN's Kenny Mayne, Nate Boyer, Ryan Leaf, Jay Feely, Jamie Dukes, Drew Pearson, Ron Jaworski, Rocky Bleier, Hall of Fame Member Jerry Kramer and Jeff Garcia.
Game time is 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, January 30th, at the XL Sports World facility at 1245 Oakley Industrial Blvd, Fairburn GA.
Admission is $20 for adults with free admission for students, children and military families. All proceeds from the event benefit the WWAFT.
