The new BLU Vivo 5R "Refresh" was carefully crafted using premium grade metal, undoubtedly giving this device a refined high-end look and feel with several key improvements and new features which include:

Display Enhancements

The BLU Vivo 5R now has an improved resolution utilizing a vivid Full HD 1080p display, including a gorgeous curved glass touch panel. Previously, Vivo 5 was using an HD 720p display.

Upgraded Front Camera Experience

Improvements in the front selfie camera include an upgraded 8.0 Megapixel Sensor, and added Front Facing LED-Flash, which marvelously lights up any night time photo. The older Vivo 5 was 5 Mega Pixel with no front facing flash.

Improved Security and Ease of Use

Ultra-fast fingerprint sensor is now available on the Vivo 5R, which allows for seamless unlocking of the phone, and improved security for files, and other fingerprint security features available. Previously no fingerprint sensor was available on BLU Vivo 5.

Increased Network Coverage

The BLU Vivo 5R has added important new LTE bands for more high speed network coverage. Band 12 for T-Mobile, and Band 17 for AT&T are now present, for improved coverage in the USA. Previously Band 12 and Band 17 were unavailable on Vivo 5.

Updated Software

The BLU Vivo 5R is now shipping with the latest Android version 6.0 Marshmallow for the latest in features from Google.

Other features including 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM, 13.0 Megapixel rear camera, Large Battery and Awesome Battery Life, Incredible DTS Sound, and Octa-Core 1.3 GHz Processor all remain the same.
