Blu Homes Unveils Plans for its First Model Home in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, June 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DWELL ON DESIGN, LOS ANGELES CONVENTION CENTER -- Blu® Homes, Inc. ("Blu"), the leading builder of precision-engineered, green prefab homes, is making it easier than ever for Southern California buyers to experience a Blu home for themselves with today's announcement that the company will open its first model home in Los Angeles later this year.

Located on a hillside lot in Agoura Hills, the luxurious 2,900 square-foot Breezehouse with separate 24' Pod, which can be used as a guesthouse, yoga room, or home office, will have four bedrooms, four bathrooms and attached garage. When finished later this year, the home will be open for private tours by appointment and public open house events hosted by Blu Homes.  

With this L.A. model home, Blu has updated the standard Breezehouse design to appeal specifically to the Southern California homebuyer. In addition to the floor-to-ceiling fenestration, soaring ceilings and open floorplan for which this modern prefab icon is known, guests will find larger bedrooms with walk-in closets, a 5' x 5' walk-in shower in the master bath, folding Nanawalls on either side of the Breezespace and expanded storage, including a walk-in pantry. Plus, by making some additional modifications to the floor plan, Blu was able to create a larger, grander central Breezespace.
