Blu® Homes Announces CEO Kaitlin Haggerty

("Blu"), North America's leading provider of premium prefab homes, today announced the promotion of Kaitlin Burek Haggerty to become its Chief Executive Officer. Kaitlin served as Blu's Chief Operating Officer for the last two years, and has held various roles at Blu homes since 2010.  Blu's board will continue to be led by former CEO Bill Haney, now in the capacity of Executive Chairman.

Since joining the Blu team in 2010, Kaitlin has worked across the Operations teams to grow market channels and implement scalable, streamlined processes. In her role as COO Kaitlin has been responsible for integration and daily management of the sales and marketing, project coordination, design and engineering, manufacturing and site delivery teams, with responsibility for delivering an excellent customer experience for Blu homes buyers. Prior to joining Blu Homes, Kaitlin worked in business development at a technology company building Latin American renewable energy markets. Prior to this she worked in the Boston office of Bain & Company, a global business consulting firm, where she advised clients across a broad range of industries, including industrial technology and consumer products.  Kaitlin holds an AB in Economics from Harvard College.
