Block & Leviton LLP Investigates Inogen, Inc. for Possible Violations of the Federal Securities Laws
BOSTON, March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Block & Leviton LLP (www.blockesq.com), a Boston-based law firm representing investors nationwide, is investigating possible securities law violations by Inogen, Inc. ("Inogen" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: INGN), a medical technology company offering innovative respiratory products for use in the homecare setting, following the Company's announcement that it has postponed the release of its fourth quarter and 2014 full year earnings release, as well as the scheduled investor conference call scheduled to take place on March 12, 2015, to discuss the fourth quarter and year-end earnings.
On March 11, 2015, Inogen issued a press release which stated that during the first quarter of 2015, certain potential accounting matters were discovered by management, which prompted the Audit Committee of Inogen's board of directors, with the assistance of external advisors, to commence an internal investigation into the issue. The Company's Audit Committee is investigating whether there were any violations of Inogen's accounting policies associated with these potential accounting matters. The Company's Audit Committee has yet to issue any preliminary findings. No timetable has been provided for presenting future updates to Inogen shareholders.
In reaction to this news Inogen's stock price dropped by as much as 18.2% in early trading on March 12, 2015, compared to its closing price prior to announcing the news of the postponed earnings release.
Block & Leviton's investigation seeks to determine, among other things, whether Inogen or its officers and directors violated the federal securities laws through the Company's actions which led to the postponing of the financial results. If you purchased Inogen securities prior to March 12, 2015, and have questions about your legal rights or possess information relevant to this investigation, please contact attorney Steven P.
