Bleum Announces Major Expansion of Operations in Chengdu

SHANGHAI, Jan. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bleum Inc., a leading China-based specialist IT outsourcing provider, announced today a major expansion of the company's operations in the central Chinese city of Chengdu. The agreement with the Tianfu Software Park, one of Chengdu's largest technology parks, quadruples Bleum's office space in the city.

The expansion will also accommodate a planned 400% growth in Chengdu-based personnel for 2012, with similar forecast growth in 2013.

Bleum's operational growth in Chengdu comes on the heels of the company's increase in COBOL, PL/SQL and supply chain capabilities, as well as planned expansion with several new clients in hospitality and life sciences.

The city of Chengdu boasts an 11 million square foot high-tech zone, home to some of the city's 520 software service outsourcing companies. The city has experienced an 89% increase in outsourcing contract value, becoming one of China's 21 State-Council Approved "Model Cities for Service Outsourcing." Chengdu hosts 11 of China's more than 200 outsourcing training bases. Logistically, Chengdu is serviced by 4 major rail lines and the new Shuangliu International Airport, with daily direct flights to major international destinations.
