Blaise Named President of Kenan Advantage Group
NORTH CANTON, Ohio, Sept. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) today announced the appointment of Bruce Blaise to President of the company. Previously, Mr. Blaise served as Executive Vice President of the Fuels Delivery Group. KAG is North America's largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering fuel, chemicals, merchant gas and food products across the United States and into Canada and Mexico.

In his new role, Mr. Blaise will be responsible for the overall operations of the company's four main groups: Fuels Delivery, Specialty Products, Merchant Gas and Logistics Services. These four groups represent twelve subsidiaries operating in 38 states and employ approximately 7,000.
The company's Fuels Delivery Group transports an estimated 25 billion gallons of refined petroleum products each year while the Specialty Products and Merchant Gas Groups have grown to become dominant transporters within their industries. KAG Logistics is the industry's first automated, end-to-end logistics service provider, utilizing industry-leading technology to meet the needs of its growing customer base.
Mr. Blaise has 28 years of experience in the transportation industry. He joined KAG in 2001 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He previously served in various management roles with Miller Transporters from 1983 to 2001. Mr. Blaise earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University where he currently serves on their Marketing Advisory Board. He is also a member of various industry related associations to include serving on the Membership and Education Committees of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA).
