Blackpoint Cyber Launches Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Service Offering

Blackpoint's MDR offering leverages its next-generation security operations and incident response platform SNAP-Defense in addition to its newly completed Security Operations Center (SOC) based in Ellicott City, MD. 

Traditional outsourced SIEM-as-a-service and basic endpoint protection check compliance boxes but do not provide the protection companies need to operate in the current cyber threat environment. Blackpoint's decision to launch an MDR service was based on customer and channel partner demand as well as the urgent need to move beyond the antiquated and ineffective log analytics model. Companies paying for the traditional outsourced security model continue to suffer breaches that are detected many months after the damage is done. Blackpoint's MDR service is underpinned by its flagship patented SNAP-Defense platform.
