NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Blackbird Group announced the launch of its new license exchange program, aimed at addressing the Active Directory and Windows File System auditing and management needs of companies seeking to protect their IT investments.

Blackbird will offer current Quest (which includes former NetPro) and NetIQ licensees the opportunity to exchange their auditing, recovery, and event log management software licenses for Blackbird Management Suite licenses on a seat-for-seat basis.

The following NetIQ products qualify for this exchange program: NetIQ Change Guardian for Active Directory, NetIQ Change Guardian for Group Policy and NetIQ Change Guardian for Windows.
