Black Hawk Exploration Update on Dun Glen and Clayton Valley
FOX ISLAND, Wash., April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Black Hawk Exploration, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BHWX) announced today that the Dun Glen estimate of the overall target zones have been increased and announces the results of Clayton Valley BMP1 exploration.
Golden Black Hawks Dun Glen Gold Exploration Program.
As a result of the positive Geophysics Report on Dun Glen Gold by Wright Geophysics and the continued analysis by Black Hawk's Geologist available today, current estimates of the overall target zones have been increased. Golden Black Hawk is pleased to say that the size potential of the surface and underground gold targets are larger than were originally anticipated by management. Permitting at Dun Glen Gold is in progress and has been filed with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Upon receipt of permits, exploratory contracts will be signed and equipment will be moved on site to begin surface mineralization trench sampling.
Blue Lithium Energy Receives Results from BMP1.
Analytical results were received from ALS Chemex for the samples submitted from Clayton Valley drill hole BMP-1. The results indicate the fluids were saline and contained lithium. Samples were collected every 20 feet beginning at 100 feet and continuing to the bottom of the hole at 520 feet. Five duplicate samples were included for quality assurance and control purposes.
The maximum lithium value returned was 23.4 mg/L at the 360 foot interval. Lithium values ranged from 7.9 to 23.4 mg/L. Lithium was registered over a 420 foot interval sampled and averaged 20.2 mg/L. The hole was completed to 520 feet and terminated in basement rock. The lack of well-defined aquifers in BMP-1 and the intersection of the basin bedrock at such a shallow depth suggests that a high point on the basin topography exists under the claims and the area drill-tested is unlikely to contain economic lithium bearing brines as required by Blue Lithium's standard. "...even though we encountered lithium, the levels of lithium brine in BMP1 were disappointing for management and our shareholders. This won't slow us down as we are still 100% committed to an aggressive lithium program, and in the meantime we will concentrate on our Dun Glen exploration," stated CEO Kevin M Murphy.
