PLEASANTON, Calif., May 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Bivio Networks, Inc. (Bivio), a developer of innovative, high-performance network security platform solutions for federal and commercial network operators and large enterprise customers, today expanded its line of Cyber Mission Tactical Rack systems with the introduction of the Bivio TacRak-LITE™ Cyber Security Operations System for Tactical Deployments.
Bivio TacRak-LITE integrates a powerful combination of proven cyber security applications, tools and capabilities to address a broad spectrum of cyber operations requirements in a compact footprint that meets crucial size and weight constraints of portable solutions. The system, which meets FAA maximum carry-on luggage size restrictions, is the second collaboration between Bivio Networks and Pacific Star Communications, Inc. (dba PacStar), a leader in small form factor tactical communications and security solutions. In September 2018, PacStar announced a collaboration with Bivio to provide the CSfC validated TLS protected server component of the PacStar Secure Wireless Command Post for Classified Communications.
Similar to the Bivio TacRak-10G™ systems, TacRak-LITE supports a true multi-sensor environment that enables organizations to perform network flow analysis, threat analysis, deep packet inspection for cyber intelligence and packet capture. Using these sensor technologies, cyber analysts can perform multi-vector sensing and analysis of cyber threats against the network landscape.
"The Bivio TacRak-LITE delivers a fully integrated cyber operations center in a compact and rugged case ready for deployment on land or sea," said Keith Glover, president, Bivio Networks. "The comprehensive sensor data and visual analytics integrated across the TacRak system product family improve the 'hunt and find' response time and mitigation of cyber threats on mission-critical networks."
Bivio TacRak-LITE utilizes PacStar 400-Series modules and packaging solutions to deliver a compact system that can be easily deployed in a variety of mission critical environments due to its minimal size, weight and power (SWaP) requirements. The TacRak-LITE base kit includes mission-specific applications and tools from the Bivio FlowIntelligence™ Cyber Sensor Suite to perform defensive cyber operations for identification, containment and mitigation of threats at network speeds up to 1 Gbps.
"We are excited to provide our PacStar 400-Series products as the hardware platform for Bivio TacRak-LITE systems," said Peggy Miller, chief executive officer, PacStar. "Our technologies are widely deployed and fielded by the US military, and the integration of Bivio cyber security technologies with our proven systems offers a true tactical-ready solution for cyber mission teams in real world high threat environments."
Bivio and PacStar will demonstrate the TacRak-LITE system and capabilities in booths 2312 and 1911, respectively, at AFCEA TechNet Cyber 2019. The Bivio TacRak-LITE can be ordered now by contacting the Bivio sales team at [email protected].
