Former Oracle and Eloquoa sales leader Jason Swetnam has been named as Bitly's first Vice President of Sales. He is joined by Vivin Williams, former ShareThis, Yahoo! and Microsoft product lead as the company's Vice President of Product.
Within the past 6 months, Bitly has also brought on a new CTO and VP of Marketing. The new executive team additions follow several recent strategic hires as the company grows into one of marketers' most valuable content intelligence resources.
Mr. Swetnam and Mr. Williams bring a broad range of expertise and strong track records of success. More details on their background include:
- VP of Sales, Jason Swetnam brings 15 years of SaaS sales experience. Prior to joining Bitly, Mr. Swetnam was a Regional Sales Vice President at Oracle, where he managed enterprise sales teams selling Oracle's Marketing Cloud Solutions. Mr. Swetnam came to Oracle through its acquisition of Eloqua and will oversee all sales and account management teams at Bitly.
- VP of Product, Vivin Williams brings more than 15 years of experience in analytics, data monetization and advanced media targeting. Prior to Bitly, Mr. Williams was responsible for building the entire monetization and analytics platforms at ShareThis. Before that, he built Yahoo's end-to-end audience analytics platform.
