Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute Earns Esteemed ASAPS Endorsement for Fellowship Program

WASHINGTON, Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Bitar Cosmetic Surgery, a full-service plastic surgery practice in the Washington DC area is pleased to launch a plastic surgery fellowship that has been endorsed by the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

The advanced aesthetic fellowship is designed to provide a board eligible plastic surgeon with additional clinical and surgical training, research, and mentorship in cosmetic surgery. Bitar Cosmetic Surgery is the only practice in the DC area and one of 17 in the United States to have earned this distinguished endorsement.

Dr.  George Bitar, the founder and medical director of Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute, is an award-winning, board-certified plastic surgeon who has lectured internationally and serves as the Vice-Chairman of the International Committee of ASAPS. Dr. Larry Lickstein, who completed his surgical residency at Harvard Medical School, has been recognized as a "Top Doc" by multiple publications, and serves as a member of the ASAPS patient safety committee.

Both doctors specialize in the latest surgical and minimally invasive techniques.
