Bit Stew Systems Accelerates Product Development and Customer Success with Additions of Zack Wickes and Tim Clark
VANCOUVER, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bit Stew Systems, a leader in Software Defined Operations for the Industrial Internet, today announced the appointments of Zack Wickes as Vice President, Engineering and Tim Clark as Vice President, Customer Success.
"Since securing $17.2M in Series B funding, Bit Stew continues to aggressively strengthen our team, capabilities and reach of our market-leading MIx Core™ platform and MIx Director Suite to better position the company for worldwide growth and expansion into additional industrial markets," said Kevin Collins, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Bit Stew Systems.
Zack Wickes focuses on enhancing Bit Stew technologies
As Vice-President, Engineering, Wickes will capitalize on the excitement in the industrial sector for Bit Stew technology by leading the product development team in identifying opportunities to significantly enhance MIx Core platform, MIx Director Suite and MIx Developer Network. Wickes aims to support the company's go-to-market strategy by further aligning product development and engineering.
Wickes brings a wealth of expertise in engineering and Artificial Intelligence to Bit Stew through various senior level technology roles at Playerize Inc., PNI Digital, MMX Software Inc., Yummy Interactive Inc. and CBN Systems. He also founded a successful copy protection and license-enforcement software company that was influential in protecting millions of copies of software globally.
Collins added, "Zack's appointment demonstrates not only our commitment to transforming industrial business processes through our MIx technologies, but it also shows Bit Stew's commitment to bolstering Vancouver's reputation as a technology leader with local talent."
Tim Clark strengthens Bit Stew's reach into new industries
The addition of Clark as Vice-President, Customer Success, immediately strengthens the company's ability to extend the reach of its platform internationally and into new industrial markets. His main focus is to improve product delivery and implementation processes by optimizing customer service, product implementation and customer support, as well as maximizing the use of strategic implementation partnerships.
Most recently, he successfully transformed the delivery organization at AtSite, a smart building analytical solution company, by moving exclusively from a professional services model to an advanced analytics-based managed services team combining analysts, engineers, consultants and a platform of analytics technology. Clark also helped further the growth of other smart grid companies including Control4 and GridPoint. Clark, a U.S. military veteran, has also served in senior consulting roles at Ernst & Young, Leadiant and Accenture, where he improved sales, service and operations for the companies' clients.
"Tim's industry expertise is a perfect fit for Bit Stew as we seek to optimize and scale our operations and delivery capabilities to help us quickly reach the next level of growth and ensure our customers' success," said Collins.
