Bishop Survey Ranks Heilind Best Electronics Distributor for Third Year in a Row

WILMINGTON, Mass., July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third time in three years, Heilind Electronics, the largest distributor of interconnect, electromechanical and wire & cable products in North America, was ranked first in overall customer satisfaction in a survey of electronics distribution customers.  The survey was conducted by the market research firm, Bishop & Associates and evaluated the top ten electronics distributors in North America.  Survey participants rated distributors on issues ranging from quality of personnel, on time delivery, and technical support to depth & breadth of inventory.

Heilind was judged the best in multiple categories including on time delivery, quality of technical support and overall ease of doing business.  Heilind also received high marks for the quality of its website and price competitiveness.  Heilind was ranked highest by both buyers and engineers and was named the overall preferred distributor by half the survey respondents, surpassing the number 2 rated distributor by a margin of more than 3 to 1.
