BioTech Medical, Inc. Announces Partnership with TrashCo, LLC to Sell Breakthrough Disinfectant to Clean Garbage Cans and Dumpsters in South Florida
SpectraSan 24™ Disinfectant continues to kill dangerous bacteria for up to 24 hours and holds a EPA Category IV toxicity rating, the lowest classification available
NORTH CANTON, Ohio, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In recent testing conducted by TrashCo who utilized Micrim Labs, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale based company, seven different hazardous bacteria and fungi were identified in randomly tested residential trash cans and commercial garbage dumpsters. These findings showcase the significant environmental and safety impact TrashCo's service provides.
When asked about his company's mission, John Wyche, CEO of TrashCo, LLC states, "we are able to provide residents and business owners with an effective, convenient and inexpensive solution to this prevalent problem that will eliminate odors, kill germs and harmful bacteria and prevent illness."
A key to helping eliminate the dangerous bacteria that live on garbage cans and dumpsters is SpectraSan 24. This breakthrough technology is an EPA-registered, broad-spectrum disinfectant that prevents the spread of bacterial infections, viruses and fungal transmission that inhabit hard, non-porous surfaces. Since SpectraSan 24's SDC patented technology continually kills germs for 24 hours, it is the obvious choice when trying to prevent the spread of communicable diseases and illnesses.
Unlike traditional alcohol or bleach-based surface disinfectants, SpectraSan 24 requires no hazard or warning statements and boasts bacterial kill times as quick as 30 seconds, compared with 10 minutes for competing products. These benefits are due to SpectraSan 24's SDC technology, the first new disinfectant active ingredient to be registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in more than 30 years. SpectraSan 24 provides powerful protection even against Norovirus, Influenza A (H1N1), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enterica, Staphylococcus aureus and antibiotic- resistant pathogens such as MRSA, CA-MRSA, and VRE to name just a few. It continues to kill bacteria for up to 24 hours after usage and yet holds the EPA's Category IV toxicity rating, the lowest classification available. Furthermore, SpectraSan 24 is specifically labeled for use in sensitive childcare environments.
Andrea L. Goren, Executive Director of BioTech Medical, Inc. stated, "We are excited to supply a much needed preventative solution to TrashCo's clients. SpectraSan 24 will effectively eliminate the dangerous germs that live on trash can and dumpster surfaces while preventing illnesses and reducing pollution."
TrashCo LLC will begin using SpectraSan 24 disinfectant for its clients in the Tri-county area of South Florida with the ultimate goal of providing this much needed service to trash and waste companies and customers throughout the United States.
