DENVER, Oct. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today BioSpace, the leading life sciences employment and news website, launched the 2012-2013 Biotech Beach™ Hotbed Campaign, marking the campaign's fifteenth edition.

The campaign highlights leading bioscience companies in San Diego and Southern California. The electronic and printed Biotech Beach Hotbed map features each company's logo alongside an artistic rendering of its building. BioSpace promotes the campaign at industry events, career fairs and on its website.

San Diego and Southern California host numerous companies and organizations on the forefront of the life sciences industry; in the past year more than 135 area companies recruited biotech, pharmaceutical and clinical research jobs on Biospace.com.
