BioScrip Supports the Toys for Tots Fund Drive and Collection for Second Year

ELMSFORD, N.Y., Dec. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BioScrip, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOS) today announced that it is supporting the Toys for Tots fundraising and toy drive for the second year. The BioScrip family of companies treats thousands of patients across the country every day, providing intravenous therapies in alternate settings that help many avoid hospitalization or readmission. Since many BioScrip infusion patients are children, supporting the Toys for Tots program has been the perfect holiday giving project. Last year BioScrip contributed $25,000 to the Toys for Tots national campaign, in addition to collecting hundreds of toys for children in need. In its second year as a National Corporate Partner, BioScrip will make a donation for every patient started on service during the holiday season and has pledged a total possible contribution of $50,000 to Toys for Tots.
