Biologica Technologies introduces ProteiOS™ growth factor at the annual North American Spine Society meeting
CARLSBAD, Calif., Oct. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Biologica Technologies announced today that it will be exhibiting its new ProteiOS growth factor at the North American Spine Society (NASS) Annual Meeting being held this week at McCormick Place West, Chicago, IL. Biologica Technologies will be located in booth number 841.
ProteiOS is a 'first of its kind' growth factor derived from minimally manipulated allogeneic bone marrow. The product contains angiogenic, mitogenic and osteoinductive proteins, possesses the highest amount of non-recombinant BMP-2, and affords surgeons the ability to customize the product by using their preferred FDA-approved scaffold/matrix.
"This product provides great flexibility for surgeons with a very unique, customizable option," stated Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Scott Cadotte. "In addition to the significant array of growth factors found in the product, it has easy storage and prep, and offers significant cost and time savings over rhBMP-2 and stem cell products.
