The awards, developed in conjunction with the San Diego Venture Group, are designed to identify accomplished and up-and-coming academics, entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders and business advisers who are making their mark on San Diego's life science industry before reaching their 40th birthday.
"Fostering the growth of the next generation of life science executives will keep the life science industry in San Diego vibrant and ensure that the brightest minds stay here to make their mark," noted Joe Panetta, president and CEO of Biocom. "The Life Science Catalyst Award is one way we can acknowledge and congratulate younger leaders, and we urge people who know of a young leader in San Diego to nominate him or her."
Nominations for the award will be accepted until July 15, 2016. Honorees will be highlighted in the cover feature of the Biocom LifeLines magazine and celebrated at the SDVG annual Luminaries Dinner in October, 2016. The Life Science Catalyst Award will honor 40 standouts from:
