LONDON HOUSE DUO ANNOUNCE SELECT LIVE SHOWS IN THE U.S. AND CANADA IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- British house duo Billon are gearing up for the U.S. release of their current single "Special," featuring Bronx-born Pharrell Williams' protege Maxine Ashley, on October 21st via Rinse/Interscope Records. The soulful dance floor anthem is currently available for streaming via digital subscription services and via digital download pre-order here.
Since forming in 2013, the London-based duo of Ed Butler and Robbie Lamond have attracted growing acclaim for their dense and melody-saturated club tracks. Combining crisp, cutting-edge production with a love of classic analogue synths, Billon create a sound that both nods to the past and looks to the future of electronic music, drawing influence from classic house, techno, and UK garage. They have released two EPs, 2013's Turn It Around and 2014's Meditate, and are known for their remixes of hits by such acts as Kiesza, Route 94, Ella Eyre, and Wankelmut & Emma Louise.
