Dejoria was introduced to RIDE TV when the company requested an interview with him while filming Horses that Heal at The Arbor – a therapeutic horse riding facility in Georgetown, Texas – supported by him and his wife, Eloise. Michael Fletcher, chief executive officer for RIDE TV, was there when DeJoria expressed interest in investing in RIDE TV.
"We finished this amazing interview and John Paul mentioned his interest in investing in RIDE TV," Fletcher said. "I was shocked someone so iconic wanted to partner with us. John Paul is a visionary and truly wants to grow the love of horses; I can't imagine a better partner."
"My family and I are into horses, and so are my super pals at Ranchero Visitadores," stated DeJoria. "It's only fitting to be able to support countless hours of watching exciting events and programs on RIDE TV." The Rancheros Visitadores ("Visiting Ranchers") is an exclusive social club that does an annual charity trail ride on horseback.
According to the U.S. Horse Council, the $102 billion horse lifestyle market includes 30 million Americans who ride horses every year, one out of every 63 Americans who interact daily with horses and the tens of millions who participate annually as horse owners or spectators in every state.
RIDE TV is now available on Armstrong, a cable provider in the Northeast and is also available nationwide through KlowdTV (https://klowdtv.com) on any device with a high speed Internet connection.
Ride Television Network, Inc. is a privately held corporation based in Fort Worth, Texas. The company's notable shareholders include John Paul DeJoria, Tom O. Moncrief, Kenneth Jones and Jay Novacek.
