Additional panelists include participants from American Electric Power, Duke Energy, Kansas City Power & Light and SCANA Corporation.
Mr. Brabson will reprise his panelist role on the same topic during the 'Customer Experience Management Conference' on July 14 with additional panelist participants from Duke Energy, SCANA Corporation and Union Gas Limited.
Between Utility Web Week and the 'Customer Experience Management Conference', BillingTree's Leonard Brabson will offer a workshop on July 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. titled "Payments 101 – ACH, Credit, Debit, Check 21, SecureVault, Electronic Cash Payments – What They Are and How They Differ". This workshop will take a deep dive into each payment channel, including the steps involved when processing a payment for each.
On Monday July 18 at 4:00 p.m. BillingTree's Utilities Sales Manager, Art Coutcher, will host a session during the 'Billing For Utilities Conference' titled "The New Mobile Billing and Payment Frontier". This session features a profile of two customers' implementations of text notification, billing and payments. It highlights tips, tricks and lessons learned from first three months of a utility pilot.
Mr. Coutcher will host an additional session during the 'Credit & Collections For Utilities Conference' on July 22 at 4:00 p.m. titled "Expanding Your Collection Horizon". This presentation will highlight unique customer payment challenges utilities encounter every day, and how technology can improve the likelihood of settlement. Profiles to be examined include new customer – friend or foe, in arrears customer facing service interruption, bad check writing customer, relocated with a balance remaining customer, and several more.
Between the 'Billing For Utilities Conference' and the 'Credit & Collections For Utilities Conference' on July 20 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., BillingTree will again offer the workshop titled "Payments 101 – ACH, Credit, Debit, Check 21, SecureVault, Electronic Cash Payments – What They Are and How They Differ" led by Mr. Coutcher.
