NEW YORK, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Maria Rodale, Chairman & CEO of Rodale Inc., the world's leading healthy lifestyle publisher, today announced that Bill Phillips, who has led the unprecedented digital growth of Men's Health magazine as the title's online editor, has been named VP/Editor-In-Chief of the Men's Health brand, which includes the magazine, its digital platforms and branded books. He will report to Maria Rodale, effectively immediately.

In addition, Men's Health Editor Peter Moore has been promoted to VP/Editor of the title, and Executive Online Editor Adam Campbell has been promoted to Editor of MensHealth.com. Both will report to Phillips.
David Zinczenko, who had served as EVP/Editor-In-Chief of the Men's Health brand and GM of the company's Healthy Living Group & Rodale Books, will leave the company by mutual agreement in advance of his contract expiration at the end of the year. He will continue to work with the company as an author for Rodale Books.

Phillips joined Men's Health in 2003, serving as the Editor of MensHealth.com as well as Executive Editor of the magazine. During his time as the brand's online editor, Phillips quadrupled traffic from 2.5 million to a record 10 million monthly uniques. The site has been nominated for three digital National Magazine Awards under his leadership and has won twice in the Interactive Tool and Personal Service categories.
Phillips was also the Editor-in-Chief of Men's Health Living, a successful newsstand-only men's shelter magazine published in 2007 and 2008. He has been nominated for National Magazine Awards as both an editor and writer. His 2005 feature, "Hunting My Father's Killer," was a finalist in the Personal Service category. Prior to joining Rodale, Phillips was the Executive Editor of Popular Science. A graduate of Penn State, he resides in Macungie, PA with his wife and two soccer-loving daughters.
Men's Health was among the first titles to launch on the iPad, the first title to launch an iPhone edition, and has won numerous National Magazine Awards since its launch. The title's December ad pages show an +8.7% increase over the 2011 issue. (according to PIB)
