Bill Engvall Brings Blue-Collar Comedy to Spotlight 29 Casino on November 26th

COACHELLA, Calif., Nov. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Actor/Comedian Bill Engvall brings his blue-collar comedy show to Spotlight 29 Casino on Saturday, November 26th at 8pm in the Showroom.

Engvall is a platinum recording artist. His first comedy album, "HERE'S YOUR SIGN" has been certified platinum and held the #1 position on the Billboard Comedy Chart for 15 straight weeks. It went on to peak at #5 on Billboard's Current Country Album Chart and reached the Top 50 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart.

He has had two solo specials which aired on Comedy Central. "15 Degrees Off Cool" aired in 2007 and was one of the highest rated specials of the year. Prior to that, "Here's Your Sign, Live," premiered to 3.6 million total viewers. The DVD of that special was certified multi-platinum.

Engvall starred in "Blue Collar Comedy Tour, The Movie," which premiered on Comedy Central and at that time was the most watched movie in the channel's history.  The sequel "Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again" was the 3rd most watched telecast ever on Comedy Central. In 2006, the Blue Collar boys reunited to shoot "Blue Collar Comedy Tour - One For The Road." The soundtrack for that show nominated for a Grammy Award.

After the success of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Engvall, along with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy, starred in the sketch comedy show, "Blue Collar TV," on the WB network.

Engvall is the star and executive producer of "The Bill Engvall Show" airing on TBS.  He also hosts one of the top rated shows on CMT, Country Fried Home Videos.
