HOUSTON, Oct. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- WCA Waste Corporation ("WCA"), a vertically integrated, non-hazardous solid-waste services company announced today that William K. Caesar has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of WCA.
Caesar joins WCA after serving since 2012 as President of WM Recycling and the WM Organic Growth Group, where he developed the industry-leading recyclable materials business for Waste Management and led its strategic technology and services investments. Prior to holding those positions, Caesar served as Chief Strategy Officer for Waste Management. Prior to joining Waste Management in 2010, Caesar was a principal in the Atlanta office of McKinsey & Company, a leading global consulting and advisory firm. During his 13-year tenure at McKinsey, Caesar advised clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including waste management, on corporate strategy, growth initiatives, performance improvement and sales strategies. He holds a bachelor of arts from Colgate University, a masters' degree from Georgetown University, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
