DALLAS, Nov. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Academic Partnerships (AP) announced today the appointment of Bill Barke to its Board of Directors, fortifying the company's higher education bench strength. Barke brings to AP nearly four decades of deep sector insights, unique industry expertise and leadership.
Over his illustrious career, Barke has held a number of executive roles, including CEO of Pearson's Addison-Wesley group, Executive Chairman of Pearson's higher education business in the U.S. and Canada, Chairman of Pearson Canada and President of Allyn & Bacon. Since stepping down from Pearson in 2014, he remains involved in the education industry focusing on education companies that combine digital disruption with a social mission.
