Biggest ever China Sourcing Fair in Dubai draws over 14,000 buyers

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, June 24 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- More than 14,000 buyers attended Global Sources' (Nasdaq: GSOL) 4th annual China Sourcing Fair in Dubai. Visitor attendance, which is restricted to qualified importers and volume buyers, increased 31% compared to 2009. The Fair, which is the largest exhibition of Greater China suppliers in the Middle East, was held June 8 - 10, 2010, at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The China Sourcing Fair in Dubai featured manufacturers of consumer electronics, fashion accessories, gifts and premiums, home products, baby and children's products, and hardware and building materials. The event, which was co-located with the 2nd Annual India Sourcing Fair, featured over 1,300 booths, an increase of 18% over last year.

The India Sourcing Fair featured an expanded array of some of India's most competitive exporters of home products and handicrafts, gifts and premiums, fashion accessories, and garments and textiles. The India Sourcing Fair is supported by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).

China Sourcing Fairs will next be held in Mumbai, India, September 8-10, 2010. The Mumbai Fairs, now in their 3rd year, will feature Greater China suppliers of electronics, security products, home products, gifts and premiums, hardware and building materials, bathroom products, and auto parts and accessories.
