CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On June 9-11, consignors and bidders from all over the country will descend upon the River Spirit Expo at Tulsa Fairgrounds for Leake Auction Company's Tulsa 2017 auction. The complete inventory can be seen on Leake's custom-built website, designed by Speed Digital and powered by their cloud-based software.
As with all of Leake's auctions, two auction lanes will create non-stop action that will keep even the most experienced auction-goers engaged and excited. During the three-day event, approximately 700 different lots featuring specialty and classic cars from all eras of automotive history will cross the block, ensuring there will be something for everyone.
Whether you're interested in getting a good deal on an American muscle car (e.g., 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429), finding a pristine classic from the 1950s (e.g., 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Convertible) or adding a late-model foreign sports car to your collection (e.g., 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider), bidders will have plenty to choose from.
One car that is expected to see a lot of action is the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Lingenfelter, which, according to Leake's communications director Jennifer Tetley, "was built by Lingenfelter Motorsports as a modern interpretation of what a 1970 Trans Am would look like. This specific car is the fifth one built of a very limited run."
Additionally, there are 97 "No Reserve" cars slated to cross the block during the event, including a 2006 Ford GT, 1954 Oldsmobile Holiday 88 Two-Door Hardtop, 1968 Ford Thunderbird and 1956 Buick Century Four-Door Hardtop.
"We are excited to work with Leake Auction Company, one of our longest-running auction partnerships, on the upcoming Tulsa auction and making it successful for all involved," said Speed Digital's CEO Neil Pitt.
