BIG+BIH April 2012: The Join of Design in the Regional Event

BANGKOK, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- 33rd BIG+BIH in April 2012 is being held in cooperation between Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and The Thai Lifestyle Products Federation. It is not only the biggest trade show of gifts and home appliances in Asia gathering of more than leading 600 companies from the region and all over the world.

The important component of this event is the strength of the design which clearly connected and being touched by visitors under the theme of "Heart of Design & Lifestyle Showcase of ASEAN". Not surprisingly, one of the highlights is the thorough presentation of great designs of each product category. It is a world event where most designs are bunched and presented.

"The significance of design in this event is that all the entrepreneurs shall pass the strict criteria in term of both quality and identity. The booth style must be interesting; moreover the selected products presented in the show shall be of the great design and considered the up-to-date trend from each brand, including the Thai brands in the world class level. New generation of entrepreneur eyed, general merchandise, gifts, souvenirs, home decorative, either Thai handicrafts with identity and modern design or brands from other countries in the region, they all will exceedingly present their prominences. These drive BIG+BIH the stage where potentialities of design from entrepreneurs perfectly presented and thus becoming the hall of design and center of new trends in both Asia and world level," said Mr.Jirabool Vittayasing, Secretary General of The Thai Lifestyle Product Federation.

Beside, BIG+BIH April 2012 will also come with special zones such as Toy and Stationary Pavilion showing new toys and stuffs for semester ending and beginning. There will be spaces for special activities including "Design Hall" zone, reflecting the show of new trend represented by the new talents, and there will be more than 300 booths from over 100 entrepreneurs this time. The "International Pavilion" will exhibit the works creatively designed by entrepreneurs from more than 80 countries over the world. Also the seminar being conducted will unlock the room for segments to share their experiences on "global megatrends" or the world major trends influencing on particular products.

Mr. Jirabool added about the privilege that the special Passport will be provided to all the visitors for collecting the stamped from several booths in claiming prizes. The shuttle bus services from and to airport will be provided to accommodate the logistics in Bangkok and its vicinities area, as well as the SIM card and prepaid mobile phone. Visitors will also be facilitated with the Buyer Lounge where internet and beverages will be served. Last but not least, the registered will be given VIP card for the exchange of free BTS ticket for their ease of transportation to the event.

BIG+BIH April 2012 will be held during April 17-22, 2012 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) Bangna, Bangkok. The trade sector will be during April 17-20 at 10:00 - 18:00 hrs and for public sector during 21 - 22 at 10:00 - 21:00 hrs.
