Big Wins and Organic Growth Spark New Hires and Leadership Appointments in Porter Novelli's North America Region
NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Global public relations leader Porter Novelli announced a number of new hires and internal promotions in its growing North America region. A result of new client wins and organic growth, these important talent additions and structure changes will support the region as it delivers results for clients around the globe.
Ted Sabarese joins Porter Novelli as regional creative director, North America, reporting to Megan King, global director of PN Creative. Sabarese will lead the North America creative team delivering content strategy, development and production, brand identity and expression, advertising, experiential marketing and design. Most recently Sabarese served as director of experiential marketing and digital creative director at Chobani. He is based in Porter Novelli's New York office.
Adam Scholder joins Porter Novelli as senior vice president, based in the agency's Chicago office, where he will be responsible for the growth of Chicago's client roster. Scholder comes to Porter Novelli from Olson Engage where he served as senior vice president and general manager. Prior to that, he worked at agencies including Burson-Marsteller, and has led work for clients including MillerCoors, McDonald's, Kraft Foods and Whole Foods. Scholder will report to Brad MacAfee, president, North America.

In addition to these new hires, Porter Novelli has made several important internal changes in order to better structure the North American region to serve its clients and deliver results, as well as build on its strengths as a talent-centric workplace.
Joining the Seattle team is Fred Shank, promoted to executive vice president and head of West Coast consumer. He will lead Porter Novelli's work with key clients, reporting to MacAfee.
Erin Osher has been promoted to executive vice president, deputy managing director of the New York office, working closely with Darlan Monterisi, managing director, New York. In Atlanta, Melissa Taylor has been appointed deputy managing director alongside Brad MacAfee, managing director, Atlanta and president, North America. Osher and Taylor will provide leadership support in areas including talent development, new business, client service and operations in their respective offices.
