Big Sky Associates Wins Federal Contract Eligibility
Army Contract Vehicle Makes Big Sky's Services Available to Multiple Government Agencies
WASHINGTON, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Sky Associates won access to new federal projects under a U.S. Army contract vehicle and can now provide security-focused analysis and consulting services to government agencies.
The bundled contract vehicle, ITES-2, is the follow-on to the Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions vehicle. Categorized as an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, ITES-2 allows the Army to quickly procure a full range of high-quality, cost-effective information technology solutions and services from a specified list of contractors.
Big Sky's initial work under ITES-2 will focus on helping the Army develop and implement security strategy. However, as an approved and funded subcontractor, the contract vehicle makes Big Sky's services available to other federal agencies.
"This contract vehicle is structured to provide an encompassing set of consulting services to the federal government," said John Dillard, president and managing partner of Big Sky Associates. "We're eager to apply our talent and experience to deliver innovative decision analysis and process-improvement strategies."
Big Sky was part of the winning team of several firms led by prime contractor CSC of Falls Church, Va. With a $20 billion ceiling over a nine-year performance period, the services under ITES-2 include business process re-engineering, information systems security, information assurance, systems operations and maintenance, and education and training.
Big Sky has multiple contracts within the national intelligence community and helps federal agencies streamline their operations and decision-making processes.
Based in Charlotte, N.C., Big Sky Associates is a management consulting firm that focuses on strategic decision analysis, process improvement and technology strategy.
