Big Red Invites Fans To Design Their 2019 Big Red Fiesta San Antonio Medal

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Red, America's original and best-selling red soda, is announcing its 2019 Fiesta San Antonio medal design contest. Fiesta San Antonio, has become the nation's premier festival celebrating the diverse heritage, culture, and spirit of San Antonio. Over 3.5 million people enjoy the week-long festival, with more than 20 percent of attendees travelling across the nation and world to experience the vibrant culture of San Antonio.

A beloved tradition at Fiesta is the creation, collection, and exchange of Fiesta medals. Both individuals and companies create Fiesta-themed medals to further participate in and honor the celebration.  Attendees proudly display and covet medals they've collected throughout the years at Fiesta.

Participants are invited to submit their Fiesta medal designs from October 1 through October 31 at www.bigred.com/fiesta where others can view, vote and share their favorite designs on social media. The top three designs chosen by the public's online votes will appear in a final round to be judged by Big Red. The winning medal will be produced as the official 2019 Big Red Fiesta medal and will be given away via a sweepstakes on Big Red social media channels in March 2019.

Big Red is looking for contestants to bring their inspiring and creative interpretations of Big Red, San Antonio's vibrant, deep-rooted family culture and Fiesta's celebration to their medal designs. All design submissions will be available online for the public to see and cast their votes.
