Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Greater Los Angeles To Honor William H. Ahmanson, Jennifer Salke And The Hollywood Reporter At 2014 Big Bash

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) will honor outstanding members of the Los Angeles community at its annual Big Bash on October 24, 2014, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Awards recognize individuals who are inspiring and positive role models for children. William H. Ahmanson, President, The Ahmanson Foundation, will be honored with the Walt Disney Man of the Year Award; Jennifer Salke, President of NBC Entertainment, will receive the Sherry Lansing Award; and The Hollywood Reporter is recipient of the Trailblazer Award. Megan Colligan, Sheri and Roy P. Disney and Sherry Lansing serve as Honorary Gala Chairs; BBBSLA Guild Members Pam Dawber and Kim Vamos, Co-Chair. Award-winning actor, comedian and producer Sean Hayes, hosts.

Founded in 1986, the Guild is dedicated to promoting awareness and raising financial support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles.
