BidSync Hires Chad B. Blanchard as Director of Operations
Former Senior Manager at eBay and Waterford Institute Will Lead Efforts To Further Extend Company's Product Research and Customer Care
AMERICAN FORK, Utah, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BidSync, a leader in SaaS-based purchasing and electronic procurement software, today announced the hiring of Chad B. Blanchard as Director of Operations. Blanchard, a veteran operations and customer support executive, is expected to expand BidSync's commitment to exceptional product research and customer service as it serves the eProcurement needs of U.S. businesses and government agencies.
Blanchard comes to BidSync from Salt Lake City-based Waterford Institute, a global non-profit educational research organization, where he was Vice President, Client Services and Operations. In that position Blanchard was responsible for business development, client relationships, marketing and production support, as well as the software development efforts of more than 40 onshore and offshore resources.
Prior to his time with Waterford, Blanchard served as Senior Manager, Customer Support Operations for eBay in San Jose, California. During his six-year tenure at eBay, Blanchard developed, implemented and managed the online marketplace's Live chat customer support center. He also directed the technical support and listing tools teams for Tier 1 and Tier 2 PowerSeller Listing Tool clients, among other achievements.
At BidSync, Blanchard will be creating and implementing new systems that will further enhance the company's customer care and product research activities. Specifically he will supervise BidSync's customer service, product research and customer implementation functions, and will establish and/or streamline processes to increase the overall quality of customer care.
