BHG Announces Management of 1,580 Rooms in 7 New Hotels
SAO PAULO, April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BHG S.A. – Brazil Hospitality Group (BM&FBovespa: BHGR3; OTC: BZHGY) announces that through its company in the north of Brazil, the hotel administration company firm Solare, the Company has signed a series of agreements for the management of hotels in said region.
All the managed hotels are currently under development, with the Gran Solare Resort e Suites located in Maceio (AL), with 384 rooms, scheduled to open by the end of 2012.
In 2013, two hotels will be launched in Maraba (PA), a 120-room Golden Tulip and a 150-room Tulip Inn. Maraba, the fourth most populated city with the fifth highest GDP in the state, is the main center of political, social and economic development in southern Para and one of the most dynamic cities in Brazil. The region has major logistics infrastructure, with a port, airport, railway and growing industrial complex (especially steelmaking), in addition to playing an important role in agriculture.
In 2014, BHG will begin managing a new Soft Inn with 196 rooms in Imperatriz (MA), dubbed the "Portal of the Amazon" and "Capital of Energy", the city is the second largest economic, political, cultural and population center in the state and connects southwestern Maranhao, northern Tocantins and southern Para.
Also in 2014, a 121-room Tulip Inn will be launched in Castanhal (PA), located 65 km east of Belem, the state capital. Castanhal has become an important commercial center for agriculture and is now consolidating itself as a technological center. The region also concentrates many energy companies specializing in high voltage and drilling technology.
Finally, in 2015, the Company will begin operating a 249-room Soft Inn in Maceio (AL) and a Gran Solare Suites with 360 rooms in Imperatriz (MA).

With the new hotels, BHG, which currently has 45 owned and managed hotels, with 8,322 rooms, will increase to approximately 12,400 at the end of 2015, distributed in 65 hotels, located in 17 states and in the Federal District.
