BeyondEdge and Dell Technologies have established a working relationship to advance intent-based networking (IBN) for cloud and edge solutions. Having a foothold in the orchestration of open and proprietary switching infrastructure and software within the network, BeyondEdge has expanded its Verity solution with capabilities aimed at data centers and clouds through the full support of Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Dell Technologies.

The enterprise-grade edge and data center IBN solution will be sold as a product offering through Dell beginning in early April 2023.

As part of an end-to-end data center infrastructure offering, Verity can now be combined with Dell Technologies SONiC to help businesses deliver new applications and services with unprecedented speed and accuracy in a range of deployment scenarios in both data centers and at the edge.

The new relationship between BeyondEdge and Dell Technologies helps customers re-envision the orchestration of complex spine/leaf fabrics across multiple private and public clouds using SONiC networking OS (NOS) through centralized and automated configuration, true zero-touch provisioning, and rapid configuration rollbacks. By abstracting the software configuration and management, Verity allows customers to free themselves from vendor lock-in within their LAN and data center environments while lowering their overall total cost of ownership (TCO).

Verity delivers advanced visibility with automated validation checks and real-time monitoring of network components and interconnects for single and multi-site data centers. The IBN platform adheres to Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Dell Technologies’ best practices and delivers lockstep software updates for simplified lifecycle operations.
