Beven P. Livingston, Ph.D., PT, ATC, is recognized by Continental Who's Who

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Dec. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Beven P. Livingston, Ph.D., PT, ATC, is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education. Dr. Livingston is an Associate Professor at the University of North Florida.

The University of North Florida offers an array of academic, career associate and transfer degree programs as well as various certificate programs providing students with a quality and attainable higher education opportunity.

An asset to the university, Dr. Livingston specializes in the development of first year doctoral degree curriculum, neuroscience, research in ultrasound imaging, sports medicine and much more. She has been in the education field for eight years; and prior to her teaching career, was a physical therapist for thirteen years.

Possessing certification as a Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia, Dr. Livingston is also a Certified Athletic Trainer. A tennis player herself, she was a physical therapist and trainer for the Professional Women's Tennis Fed Cup.

To keep abreast of the latest in the industry, Dr. Livingston is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Athletic Trainers Association and the American Society for Biomechanics. Locally, she volunteers at schools and is involved with the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club Tennis Committee. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis, being outdoors and quality family time.

Initially beginning her educational career with a BS in Biology from Transylvania University, Dr. Livingston attended the University of Kentucky where she attained a second BS in Physical Therapy as well as MS in Kinesiology. She received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Emory University.
