Bethesda Doubletree Hotel Introduces "Luxury Living" Suites

BETHESDA, Md., May 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Doubletree Hotel guests that want to stay a little longer in Bethesda will now have a new option with the hotel's addition of its new luxury residences. The new suites called "The Residences at the Doubletree" will offer a luxurious array of amenities not found in regular guest rooms. For travelers seeking a convenient alternative to a corporate apartment or extended stay hotel, the Doubletree offers the option to enjoy all the comforts of home with every benefit of a full-service hotel.

Each two-room Residence features a full guestroom, kitchen and living room, and includes the trademarked Doubletree "Sweet Dreams" bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, coffee-makers, full-size refrigerators, microwaves and dishwashers, 42 inch TV in the guestroom and 50 inch plasma television in the living room, free internet access and free printing in our complimentary business center.

Daily housekeeping service is available. Craving "Cheesecake in a Jar" and a delectable glass of wine? You can order room service or come downstairs to The Great Room – featuring The Oz., our full-service restaurant, The Wine Bar which pours 50 wines by the glass and The Cup, featuring Starbucks coffee and fresh to-go items.  You are also welcome to come join the other guests to play Xbox or Wii in our Lava Room.  

The introduction of the new luxury Residences is part of the Doubletree's recently completed final phase renovations at the Hotel including an expanded lobby seating area, upgraded amenities in all guest rooms and guest bathrooms, restored parking garage, improved entrance areas and more. The lobby upgrades will create an inviting place for guests to relax and unwind with a new seating area and coffee bar. All guest rooms have new 42" flat panel televisions and new cabinets, attractive AC covers and bathtub tile surrounds. The hallways have received new carpet and a fresh coat of paint.
