NEW YORK, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- After auditioning thousands of hopefuls from around the country and in Lagos, Nigeria and narrowing down the top 20, BET's gospel reality competition, SUNDAY BEST is close to naming this year's winner. Finalists Elder Goldwire McLendon, 79, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and LeAndria Johnson, 27, from Orlando, Florida will compete for a national recording contract, a 2010 Ford SHO, a cash prize courtesy of Degree Nature Effects, and the title of SUNDAY BEST during the Father's Day finale on Sunday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m.* The inspirational 12-week singing competition with gospel greats Kirk Franklin as host along with Tina Campbell of Mary Mary, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, and Yolanda Adams as judges will allow viewers to vote for their favorite contestant and ultimately decide who will be this season's SUNDAY BEST.

During the finale episode viewers will be treated to stellar performances by Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell and Donald Lawrence featuring season two winner Y'anna Crawley and finalists Jessica Reedy and Latice Crawford. Voting began on Sunday, June 13th at 8:55 p.m.* and will close on Saturday, June 19th at 12:00 p.m.*
