Bestselling Author Brian Wansink Speaking at 2010 Soy Symposium
WASHINGTON, July 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Author of the bestseller Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think, Brian Wansink, Ph.D. will speak and moderate at the 2010 Soy Symposium on November 11th in Washington, DC.
Wansink, an award-winning academic researcher on food psychology and behavior change, is the John Dyson Professor of Consumer Behavior at Cornell University. From 2007-2009, Wansink served as the Executive Director of USDA's Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion, the Federal agency in charge of developing the 2010 Dietary Guidelines. During the 2010 Soy Symposium, Wansink will speak about the challenges individuals will face meeting the Dietary Guidelines and what is needed to enhance more mindful eating behavior. After his presentation, Wansink will moderate an interactive panel on What Can Be Done to Meet the 2010 Dietary Guidelines?
