Halogen TalentSpace scores highest in customer satisfaction in new crowdsourced software rankings on G2 Crowd
CHICAGO, July 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Based reviews from HR professionals, the inaugural GridSM report for Performance Management Software, announced today by business software review site G2 Crowd, ranks six products to help HR software buyers in their selections.

The GridSM, G2 Crowd's software recommendation engine, factors in customer satisfaction reported by users and vendor market presence determined from social and public data to rank products.
Performance management software is generally designed to align an organization's goals, set company performance standards, and measure employee progress in pursuit of these goals. With performance management software, managers can run performance reviews, set compensation and bonuses, and plan employees' career paths and succession through organizational planning functionality. The six products on the GridSM are all part of larger HR management suites, which offer broader functionality that can manage companies' entire HR operations.
To qualify as a Leader, a product must receive a high customer satisfaction score and have substantial market presence. SuccessFactors and Workday were named Leaders, and High Performers are Halogen TalentSpace and Ultipro, which earned high customer satisfaction scores with a smaller market presence.
As part of the software review process, HR professionals scored specific features of the products they use. Reviews and feedback was the highest-rated feature (80% satisfaction rate), and the lowest-rated feature was career and development planning was the lowest-rated (72% satisfaction rate). Across all performance management products, 77% of reviewers reported the product they use meets their requirements, and on average reviewers are 75% likely to recommend the product they use.
