Bertram Capital Promotes Ryan Craig and Stephanie Ho to Principal
SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Bertram Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in San Mateo, California, announced the promotions of Ryan Craig and Stephanie Ho to Principal. Craig leads the firm's investment in One Distribution (Supra Footwear and KR3W Apparel) and also serves as a Director with Bertram General Partner Ken Drazan on the firm's investment in GENASCIS. Ho leads the firm's investment in Sanare (Total Diabetes Management) and has been responsible for managing several of GENASCIS' acquisitions. The promotions follow the successful closing of Bertram Capital's second fund, Bertram Growth Capital II, with $500 million in limited partner commitments.
"Stephanie has contributed deep healthcare industry knowledge and investment leadership to the Bertram team. Her sensitivity to both management and the seller's needs were instrumental to Bertram's ability to close the Sanare transaction," said Ken Drazan.
"Ryan sourced and leads our investment in One Distribution, which was a very complex cross border transaction. His ability to structure and lead the continuing management team through the transaction was essential to our successful closure," commented Jeff Drazan, Managing Partner of Bertram Capital.
Ryan Craig joined Bertram Capital in 2006 and is a founding member of the firm's investment team, focusing on deal execution and portfolio company management in the healthcare and consumer sectors. Ryan serves on the Board of Directors for both companies. Prior to Bertram, Ryan worked on strategic transactions for Health Net, one of the country's largest managed care organizations. He has also held positions with Mitchell Madison Group and BizBuyer.com. Ryan attended Stanford University where he earned an MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics.
