Bertram Capital Promotes Kevin Yamashita to Partner
SAN MATEO, Calif., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Bertram Capital announced today the promotion of Kevin Yamashita to Partner. Kevin has closed five transactions in his three year tenure at Bertram Capital and leads the firm's investment activity in the industrial sector.

Kevin Yamashita joined Bertram in 2007 and oversees two of Bertram Capital's portfolio companies: PDI (www.pdicorp.com), the leading designer and manufacturer of power distribution equipment for the North America data center market, and TydenBrooks (www.tydengroup.com), the principal manufacturer of single use cargo seals, utility meter products and accessories and product marking equipment. Kevin is a board member of both companies.
Prior to Bertram, Kevin was with Calera Capital (formerly Fremont Partners) where he evaluated companies in consumer products, retail, healthcare, building products and general industrials. Kevin has also held positions with TPG Capital, the Yucaipa Companies and the Investment Banking division of Salomon Smith Barney. Kevin graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, summa cum laude.
