Bersin by Deloitte to Showcase Industry-Leading Research and Insights Championing "Bold HR" at IMPACT 2015
Executives from Dyson U.S., Earls Kitchen + Bar, Gap Inc., MasterCard, Reliance Industries, and Sony Pictures Entertainment among the more than 30 senior-level presenters in 30-plus breakout sessions, roundtables and workshops
OAKLAND, Calif., April 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Now is the time to develop clear and business-aligned talent strategies to engage employees, spend more to develop strong leaders, get good at using data, and for human resources leaders to gain the skills they need to serve as business leaders, according to the executives and research analysts who will present at Bersin by Deloitte's IMPACT 2015: Bold HR. The industry's premier research-based executive conference for HR, learning and talent leaders and their teams, IMPACT 2015 takes place April 28 to May 1 at the Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida.
Executives and senior leaders from Dyson U.S., Earls Kitchen + Bar, Gap Inc., MasterCard, Reliance Industries, and Sony Pictures Entertainment will be among the more than 30 senior-level presenters at the conference who will describe their leading talent and HR solutions to drive organizational performance in today's rapidly-evolving global workplace. Josh Bersin, principal, Bersin by Deloitte, Deloitte Consulting LLP, will focus in his keynote on why now is the time for "Bold HR," an approach that encourages HR, talent and learning leaders to think differently, innovate with simpler new solutions, and learn to leverage data to deliver the learning, recruiting, and talent solutions that drive business value.
"Our researchi shows an emerging crisis in employee engagement and leadership development while some HR organizations struggle to keep up," said Bersin. "Nearly 40 percent of new CHROs are coming from non-HR business positions and HR professionals rate themselves a 'C-' in their ability to understand and manage the workforce. The problem is not that HR professionals lack dedication or commitment. Rather, it is that we see a need for the function to be bolder: more creative, innovative, and confident in their solutions."
Embracing data analytics is a key example of how HR leaders need to think differently if they are to solve business and people challenges at a time of growth, change and disruption, said David Mallon, head of research, Bersin by Deloitte, Deloitte Consulting LLP. "At IMPACT 2015," he said, "our goal is to empower HR leaders and professionals to reimagine practices to improve leadership, employee engagement and productivity in today's rapidly-changing world."
