New Bersin & Associates WhatWorks® Awards Replaces Learning Leaders Program to Recognize Innovation and Excellence in High-Impact HR, Learning and Talent Management
OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bersin & Associates, the leading membership-based provider of human resources (HR) research and best practices, today announced the call for applications for the Bersin & Associates 2013 WhatWorks® Awards, a bold new research-driven awards program that supersedes the popular Learning Leaders program with a broad focus on innovation and excellence across the critical areas of HR, learning and talent.
Organizations interested in submitting for this prestigious award can go to www.bersin.com/whatworksawards to download applications. The deadline for application submission is September 14, 2012. WhatWorks Awards are offered in an exclusive partnership between Bersin & Associates and the award-winning Human Resources Executive® magazine. Winners will be featured in the print and digital versions of the magazine in March 2013. Winners also will be recognized and their programs featured at the Bersin & Associates IMPACT 2013 research conference, to be held April 22-25, 2013 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
"We are expanding our awards program to reflect the breadth and depth of our membership base and the proprietary information, models, and best practices that we deliver," said Josh Bersin, chief executive officer and president, Bersin & Associates. "The program uses selection criteria based on our years of in-depth study and the expertise we've developed across all areas of HR, learning and talent. We look forward to receiving submissions from any and all organizations that can demonstrate significant operational improvement by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving critical challenges in these areas."
The new Bersin & Associates WhatWorks Awards will recognize winners in each of seven categories. The new award categories align with current industry focal points and Bersin & Associates industry-leading practice areas. Organizations can apply in one or more of the following categories: (1) Transforming HR, (2) Developing Tomorrow's Leaders, (3) Enabling High Impact Learning, (4) Acquiring Top Talent, (5) Optimizing Talent Management, and (6) Delivering Innovation, a category which recognizes Solution Providers that have brought an innovative solution to the marketplace.
For a special seventh category, Bersin & Associates will select outstanding examples of submissions for a Leveraging WhatWorks® Membership award. That award will recognize companies that take full advantage of their Bersin & Associates WhatWorks membership -- including research, models and services -- to accelerate significant business improvement.
