NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Berkery Noyes announced today that the firm represented Haymarket Media Inc. ("Haymarket") in its sale of Compliance Week ("CW") to The Wilmington Group ("Wilmington"). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Compliance Week, established in 2002, focuses on regulatory and compliance issues related to financial reporting, regulatory enforcement, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and related global issues, from consumer privacy to data management. Approximately 50% of Compliance Week's revenue is derived from subscriptions, and a further 30% from conferences and events, including the flagship "Compliance Week's Annual Compliance Conference" described as "the Davos of Compliance." Just over 12% of Compliance Week's turnover is generated outside of the US.
