HOUSTON, Nov. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BenchMark Energy Corporation (OTC: BMRK). BenchMark Energy Corporation announced today that it has submitted all the necessary disclosure documentation to comply with the Alternative Reporting Standards pursuant to the provisions as provided by the OTC Markets Group and has moved up to the OTC Pink Current tier.
Management is pleased to have accomplished this process diligently and holds true to form in its efforts to maintain transparency to its shareholders and conform to required standards. In addition, the Company has already commenced its efforts to prepare to file Form 10-12b with the Securities and Exchange Commission as required pursuant to the provisions provided in Section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Subsequent to meeting the requirements of Section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, BenchMark will immediately seek to trade on a higher tier or exchange such as the OTCQX or Nasdaq.
