CHICAGO, Nov. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Restaurant Association today announced an alliance with Quiris Media, which represents Bellavita Expo, a traveling exhibition made up of authentic Italian food and beverage producers, to bring their event to the United States for the first time ever during NRA Show 2016.
Bellavita Chicago will co-locate with NRA Show 2016, commanding approximately 20,000 square feet of exhibit space in Lakeside Center, adjacent to NRA Show booth space and the World Culinary Showcase event area. The event will feature Italian food and beverage producers, wine-focused educational sessions and demonstrations by Michelin-starred chefs. Entrance to Bellavita will be included in the cost of a standard NRA Show registration.
"The recent results of the NRA's 2015 Global Palates Survey demonstrate significant interest in Italian cuisine by the U.S. consumer," said Lisa Ingram, President & COO, White Castle System Inc. and 2016 NRA Convention Chair. "We are delighted to bring Bellavita to NRA Show, providing our attendees the opportunity to explore authentic Italian food and beverage products that they can incorporate into their menus to meet this demand."
Bellavita will be open during all NRA Show exhibit hours and access will be included with the cost of attendee badges, which are currently $45 through November 20th.
"We evaluated several potential partner events in our quest to bring the taste of authentic Italian cuisine to America," said Aldo Mazzocco, CEO of Quiris Media. "We visited NRA Show 2015 last May and were incredibly excited by the energy of the Show and the quality of attendees it attracts. We believe this is the perfect venue to introduce Bellavita to the United States."
Restaurant, foodservice and hospitality professionals interested in visiting Bellavita should register for NRA Show. Suppliers interested in exhibiting in Bellavita must be manufacturers of food and/or beverage products based in Italy and should contact Quiris Media.
